Dr. William J. “Jake” Livingston is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has been in practice at Shelby Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates since 2010. Originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, he received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College, and graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his Otolaryngology training in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Livingston treats the full spectrum of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders, with particular interests in chronic ear infections and drainage, voice and swallowing problems, and minimally invasive management of sinus disease. He also treats benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, salivary glands, and thyroid.
Dr. Livingston is active in representing his specialty within the Baptist Health System, serving as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at the Shelby Ambulatory Surgery Center, and as the Vice-Chair of the Surgery Committee for the Baptist Physician Alliance.
